Mr.Shubhro and his skedaddling shadow
Created as a part of a 4 week course on Illustration, the aim was to illustrate a children's book.
This book "Mr.Shubhro and his skedaddling shadow" was written by Ananya Bashyam and illustrated by Shubham Mohapatra.
Mr.Shubhro and the skedaddling shadow is a fun tale that revolves around the gripes of an unsuspecting little man mourning the loss of his shadow. Through the streets of Pondicherry, we follow him through different scenes of his life as he runs about in desperate search of his childhood companion.

The linework for the illustrations was done traditionally, ballpoint pen on paper. After scanning the illustrations I colored them in Adobe Photoshop.
